Machine Park
We have built up a machine park tailored to our customers’ needs.
Our machine park is fully equipped for the production of cardboard and corrugated paper packaging, the production of glued soft-cover and hardcover books, stitched brochures and advertising products with various enhancements. We propose solutions which increase product quality and the efficiency of production processes.
We possess two full production lines, for the production of cardboard packaging and for publications.
Our production line for cardboard packaging consists of Heidelberg printers, the most modern offset multi-colour printing technology. Its output reaches 18,000 sheets/hour, while maintaining a high level of quality in the entire print run. Stamping machines for cutting the packaging, as well as Bobst folding-gluing machines, allow for a wide range of packaging to be produced.
Our stamping machines make it possible, during the production process, for the output to be removed quickly from the area of production. This allows us to maintain quality and precision while packaging materials are being cut.
The production line for books, brochures and manuals consists of Heidelberg printers with a double-sided page capability, folding machines, machines equipped with an electronic control of the number of pages printed, and machines for gluing and stitching.
The Muller Martini machine for glued binding is adapted for use both in traditional gluing technology (hotmelt), and in PUR technology. The latter allows for gluing a whole volume using coated materials, such as high-grade coated art paper, with a binding speed of up to 8,000 blocks/hour. The Muller Martini machine for stitch binding (notebook-style stitch binding) makes it possible for wire stitching of every type of brochure, as well as for binding using simple and round buckling, reaching a line output of 9,000 pieces/hour.
The standardization of the printing process guarantees colour consistency. The printing press is always willing to accept a customer’s colour model (the so-called ‘proof’ or trial copy). The setting up of the printing press is done by the CTP department, by generating a colour profile, which is sent through an internal optical fibre network to the printing machine. This automatic control system has an advantage over traditional methods of verifying the first printed copies, as it reduces the time needed to set up the machine, accelerates the printing process and guarantees colour consistency.
